How do I register?

Signing up with Vserv.mobi is easy and takes less than 5 mins.

To register as a Publisher/Developer/Advertiser, please follow the steps outlined below:
(* indicates mandatory fields)

- Navigate to http://www.vserv.mobi/
- Click on Register on the top right corner of the page.
- Now choose your account type as either Publisher / Developer or Advertiser
- Enter your Account Name* (Enter your Company Name or some unique identification)
- Enter your Contact Name*
- Enter your Email Address*
- Enter your Mobile Number
- Lastly, click on the Submit button at the bottom

The below steps are applicable only in case of publisher/developer registrations:

On submission of the above form, you will now receive a verification email from ops[at]vserv.mobi

If you don't receive the email shortly, please check your junk mail and spam folders. Also, we suggest you add ops[at]vserv.mobi to your address book, so that all emails from Vserv are properly received.

You need to click on the link in your email or copy the link and paste to your browser to continue with the registration process. You will now be directed to the second Registration page.

Here, you need to fill in the details under the below headings:

Login Details

Personal Details

Company/Account Information

Now, check the checkbox – I agree to Vserv’s terms and conditions

- Lastly click on the Submit button at the bottom of the page.

Your registration process is complete. You can now continue to login to Vserv MarketPlace and integrate ads onto your sites and apps. However your sites or apps will go live only post account verification.

For advertiser registrations only:

Once you submit your registration form, one of our sales representatives will reach out to you shortly.

How will I know if my publisher account has been approved?

On submission of your second registration form details, our ad ops team will review your account. In the event your account has been approved, you will receive an email from us informing you that your account has been approved and you can start using our service.

On the contrary, if your account has been rejected, you will receive an email from us informing you that your account has been rejected and the most likely reason for rejection.

I’m not able to sign in to my account / I forgot my password?

Your registered email address is your Vserv account login. In the event, you have forgotten your Vserv.mobi password, you need to follow the steps outlined below to retrieve your password:

- Navigate to http://vserv.mobi
- Click on Login link at the top of the page.
- In the login box that pops up, you need to click on the Forgot Password? link.
- On the subsequent page, you will have to enter your registered email address in the Email field that was used during the sign up process.
- Lastly, click on the Proceed button.

You will now receive an email from ops[at]vserv.mobi to retrieve your Vserv.mobi password. You need to click on the link in your email to reset your password.

- Enter your password.
- Repeat your Password.
- Lastly, click on the Proceed button.

You can now login to your Vserv.mobi account with your new password.

How do I update my account information?

To update your payment details, please follow the steps outlined below:

- Navigate to http://www.vserv.mobi/
- Click on the My Account tab at the top of the page.

For Payment Details

- To update your payment details, click on the Payment Details tab.
- You may now edit any details you need under the Tax Details heading – Country, Account Type, Business Name or Local Tax ID.

For Bank Details

- You may now edit any details you need under the Bank Details heading – Beneficiary Name, Bank Name, Bank Branch Address, Recipient’s Account Number or Bank Swift Code.
- Lastly, click on the Save Changes button.

To update your profile information, please follow the steps outlined below:

- Click on the Profile tab.
You may now edit any details you need under the Change Name heading except for your Username and Email Address.
- You may also check the checkboxes under the heading Report Setting to get an email report when a campaign is automatically activated/deactivated and to get campaign delivery reports.
- Also, you can enter the number of days between campaign delivery reports.
- Lastly, click on the Save Changes button at the bottom.

Can I change my user interface preferences?

Yes, you can change your user interface preferences by following the steps of outlined below.

- Navigate to http://www.vserv.mobi/

- Click on the My Account tab at the top of the page.

- Now, click on Preferences.

- You can now check/uncheck the options under Inventory, Confirmation in User Interface, and Statistics accordingly as per your preference.

- Lastly, you need to click the Save Changes button at the bottom.

What are the ad sizes you support?

We support the below ad sizes:

Wap banners - Static or animated images, in gif, jpeg or png format. All newimages for the ad have to be in same format.

There are 2 types of ad formats – Full screen and Banner ad formats.

Launch / Exit Ads are enabled using the AdWrapperTM

Full screen ads at transitions inside the app or in-app banner with the app content can be enabled by SDK/API integration.

What is AppWrapperTM?

How do I enable ads for my app?

- You can download the AppWrapperTM tool which is needed to run on your apps.

- Put your app files (jad/jar or apk) in the "RawApps" folder.

- Run VservAdwrapper.exe to get your AdWrapped Apps in WrappedApps folder.

- You need to make sure that Java environment is set on your computer. For further help on setting up java environment visit: http://vserv.mobi/JavaPathSetup.pdf.

What are the changes that users will experience after my app is ad wrapped?

Users will now see a billboard (full screen) ad at the launch and exit of the app. The user experience within your app will remain seamless and not be changed or affected.

The size of the jar file will increase by a minimum 20KB and the size of the apk file will increase by 100KB.

Can I work with Vserv.mobi if my app is not a J2ME or Android app?

Vserv.mobi offers several solutions covering all major platforms. You can do API/SDK integration in order to work on other platforms.

How do I get my App ID?

The App ID is also known as Zone ID. On successful registering, the acknowledgement mail has details about the same. The same can also be viewed from Vserv.mobi’s online interface.

You need to put your App ID in the configuration file (config.txt) against the "appId_start" parameter.

How can I start showing ads only after a few sessions of usage at launch and exit?

Ad display can begin after a few sessions of usage by providing the custom value with the following parameters "startAfterCount_start" and "startAfterCount_end" uncommented in the config file.

Can I have ads only on exit?

By overriding the parameter "showAt=end", you can have ads displayed on exit.

How can I start/stop ads on certain events like full purchase from within my app?

You need to provide "blockAds=true" parameter in the config file. Also you need to provide certain associated parameters. The detailed description about the same can be obtained from the Integration document which comes when you download the tool from the link at the time of registration. The link shared herewith for Java and for Android.

What additional permissions will be required for my Android App?

By default, following permissions will get added to your existing applications.

- "android.permission.INTERNET"
- "android.permission.ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION"

You can turn-off above permissions for location from the permissions block of the config file. This will affect your overall earnings.

For occasional higher rate campaigns which are Click to Call or Click to SMS you can enable in the permissions block of the config file.

- "android.permission.SEND_SMS"
- "android.permission.CALL_PHONE"

What should I do to ensure proper signing of my app?

Signing of ad-wrapped binaries can be done with the AdWrapperTM tool itself by providing valid certificates and required passwords inside the config file.

How do I use Vserv’s Analytics?

By overriding the parameter “wrapAnalytics=true”, you can have analytics enabled.

You also need to specify the "propId" which you can get on request.

Do I need to make any payment or pay any fees for using your service?

You can join our service for FREE. We do not charge you any fees for using our program.

How and when will I receive my payments?

Our payment cycle is 60 days.

E.g. If your earnings for the month of January is $250, your payout will be done in the first week on April.

Please make sure that your payment details are updated in your Vserv.mobi account. Incomplete payment details may delay your payouts.

All payments will be made in USD ($) for International publishers and INR (ì) for Local/Domestic publishers. $ value will be converted to INR and paid out to local/domestic publishers as per the current market rate on the day of the payout.

Currently, we are making payments only through:

- Wire Transfer: For International Publishers
- RTGS: For Local/Domestic Publishers

Is there a minimum payout?

For International publishers, the minimum payout is $250 and for Local/Domestic publishers the minimum payout is $20. If your payments are less than the above mentioned minimum payout, we will continue to accumulate payments, until we reach the minimum disbursement limit.

From where can I obtain my SWIFT, IFSC, IBAN and Sort code?

You need to get in touch with your bank to obtain your above codes.

How do I create campaigns?

To create a campaign, please follow the steps outlined below

- Navigate to http://www.vserv.mobi/
- Login to your account.
- Now, click on the Campaigns tab at the top of the page.
- Click on Add Campaign on the left hand side.

Basic Information

- Enter your Campaign Name.
- Choose your Campaign Type.
- Select Category from the drop down box.

Date

- Select Start Date
- Select End Date

Pricing

- Select Pricing Model from the drop down box.

Daily Capping

- Select your daily limit.

Priority in relation to campaigns

- Set the campaign weight

Miscellaneous

- Check Companion positioning
- Enter your IO number
Lastly, click on the Save Changes button.

How to create ads under campaigns?

To create ads under a campaign, please follow the steps outlined below:

To add funds to your account, please follow the steps outlined below

- Navigate to http://www.vserv.mobi/

- Login to your account.

- Now, click on the Campaigns tab at the top of the page.

- Click on Add Ad in line with the Campaign Name that you want to create an ad under.

- Choose your ad type from the drop down box.

- Enter your ad name.

- Now, enter all the necessary details of your ad creative as required.

- Lastly, click on Save Changes.

How to Target ads?

To target ads, please follow the steps outlined below:

- Navigate to http://www.vserv.mobi/

- Login to your account.

- Now, click on the Campaigns tab at the top of the page.

- Click on Ads in the sub navigation bar.

- Click on Delivery in line with the ad name that you want to target the ads for.

- On the subsequent page, under the heading Delivery Options select your delivery options as required.

- Lastly, click on Save Changes button.

How do I track performance of campaigns?

To track performance of your campaigns, please follow the steps outlined below:

- Navigate to http://www.vserv.mobi/

- Login to your account.

- Click on the campaigns tab the top of the page.

- You can now select the time period from the drop down box to view your statistic and accordingly track the performance of your campaigns.

- Lastly, click on the Go button to view your statistics.

How do I pause/resume campaigns?

To pause/resume your campaigns, please follow the steps outlined below:

- Navigate to http://www.vserv.mobi/

- Login to your account.

- Click on the campaigns tab the top of the page.

- You will now see a Pause or Resume button under Status in line with your campaign name.

- You can now either Pause or Resume your campaign by clicking on the respective button based on the status of your campaign.

How do I create a zone?

To add a zone, please follow the steps outlined below:

Basic Information

- Login to http://vserv.mobi/
- Click on the Inventory tab on the top right hand corner of the page.
- Click on Add Zone
- Name* - Enter the zone name.
- Type* - Select the radio button for either App or Site
- Format - Select Banner radio button and check the checkbox for (Can show text ads), if required OR select Text radio button.
- Category* - Select Category from the drop down box.
- Zone URL's* - Enter the zone Urls's (add comma for multiple zone URL's)

(Note: Incase of single site being Adult the entire zone will be considered as Adult else register them separately.)

Render Info

- Show Text ads - Select the radio button for Yes or No, as required.
- All Expandable Ads - Select the radio button for Yes or No, as required.

Campaign Limitations

Select Exclude Advertisers who are from the drop down box. Multiple selections are allowed for choosing Content Providers under the heading Mobile publisher and Brand.

Note: Select only the category of advertiser whose campaigns you want to completely exclude.

Ad Limitations

- Only Censored Ads - Select the radio button Yes or No, as required.
- Allow Click to Charge Ads - Select the radio button Yes or No, as required and check the checkbox for Show Instruction Below, if required.
- Lastly, click on the Save Changes button

How long does it take to approve my site(s)?

It may take up to 24 hours to approve your sites on business days.

How often are the reports updated?

Reports are updated every hour.

How do I know how many users / revenue?

You are provided with an online dashboard that gives you data on your users if analytics have been configured. The data is sufficient to understand user behavior.

The same dashboard gives you detailed ad revenue data points such as distribution of revenue through geography, fill rates, eCPM etc.

Once your account has been cancelled, sites/apps mapped to any linked campaigns will not be available and ad serving will be disabled.
